According to a report by the US-based entertainment magazine The Hollywood Reporter, Disney intends to unveil four Doomsday trailers over the coming four weeks, with each trailer being showcased for a duration of seven days.

At the time this report was released, Marvel Studios had not yet officially announced the trailers. Featuring Robert Downey Jr, Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, 2026.

In the meantime, enthusiasts are guessing that each of the four trailers will focus on a particular superhero group — The Avengers, Thunderbolts, The Fantastic Four, and The X-Men.

The eagerly awaited movie, uniting the four superhero teams for the first time, was initially scheduled for release on May 1, 2026. According to Variety, after the debut of Doomsday, its sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, is now set to premiere in theaters on December 17, 2027, rather than the originally planned May 7, 2027.

Avengers: Doomsday will see the comeback of Joe and Anthony Russo, who have been long-time collaborators with Marvel, as directors. The pair has previously helmed Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
