According to his team, he is in good health and is there for a standard medical examination. The team released a statement saying, 'It is a routine check-up. He is undergoing tests and receiving some standard treatments.'
Earlier this year, seasoned actor Dharmendra had a corneal transplant at a hospital in Mumbai. The 88-year-old icon, celebrated for his timeless appeal and resilient nature, was spotted exiting the hospital with a bandage on his right eye, escorted by his team. The footage rapidly gained traction on social media, raising concerns among fans and fellow industry members.
The paparazzi assembled outside the hospital to inquire about his health. With his usual humility and smile, Dharmendra comforted everyone by saying, “I am strong. There is still a lot of strength in Dharmendra. I still have life in me. I have undergone a corneal transplant — I am strong. Love you, my audience and my fans.”
His optimistic outlook following the surgery garnered him widespread affection from fans of all ages, with many referring to him as the 'embodiment of strength and elegance.'
