The advance booking response for Dhurandhar 2 at the box office has been remarkable. As reported by Sacnilk, the film has garnered around Rs 44.25 crore from its paid previews, which includes block seats. The advance bookings for the first day have also been impressive, with the film surpassing Rs 33.60 crore in Day 1 advance sales. Over 7 lakh tickets have been sold across more than 17,000 shows nationwide.

The pre-release buzz for Dhurandhar 2 has been extraordinary, making theatres to add extra screenings, including late-night and post-midnight shows, to meet fan demand. The excitement isn’t limited to India, overseas pre-sales for the opening weekend have already crossed Rs 75 crore, pushing global pre-sales past Rs 153 crore and setting the stage for a record-breaking launch.

Trade analysts predict the film could surpass Rs 200 crore on Day 1, including preview collections, potentially joining the ranks of massive openers like Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, RRR, and Pushpa 2: The Rule. It might even break the current Bollywood opening-day record held by Jawan.

Alongside Ranveer Singh, the ensemble cast includes R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt. The sequel continues the high-stakes saga of Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a death row inmate recruited by Indian intelligence, building on the action-packed narrative of the first film.

The original Dhurandhar was a global blockbuster, earning over Rs 1,300 crore and running for more than 75 days. With this legacy and the overwhelming pre-release response, expectations for the sequel are sky-high.
