While Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues its strong run at the box office, a brief on-screen mistake momentarily caught viewers’ attention. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the high-octane sequel has earned widespread acclaim for its scale and meticulous detailing. Still, a small error in one particular scene quickly went viral.
The scene in question showed Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza, also called Jaskirat Singh Rangi, engaged in a high-intensity fight sequence. In a reflection visible during the shot, a cameraman briefly appeared on screen for a split second, a detail that sharp-eyed viewers noticed and quickly circulated on social media. The footage rapidly sparked a wave of memes, attracting both amusement and criticism.
The producers, however, acted quickly to resolve the problem. As per a trade source cited by Bollywood Hungama, “Updated prints of the film were dispatched to cinemas nationwide, with instructions to begin screening them immediately. Some theatres received the new version on Saturday, while others got it on Sunday.”
The source added, “In this updated print, the cameraman is no longer visible in the mirror’s reflection. When you are releasing such a massive film, you have to manage countless details, and occasionally, errors do occur. Even in Hollywood movies, you can find many such slip-ups. It’s commendable that Aditya Dhar and his team fixed the error. Naturally, even after the theatrical run, the corrected version is the one that will be shown on OTT and satellite.”
The streak of major success goes on
Despite the short-lived distraction, the film’s performance stays intact. The sequel expands on Hamza’s story, exploring his backstory and emotional journey in greater depth. Alongside Ranveer, the movie showcases a powerful ensemble cast, with Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi playing significant roles.
With worldwide earnings surpassing ₹300 crore in only a few days, Dhurandhar 2 remains firmly established as a major box office hit.
