Diljit is set to face off against David Mitchell for Ludwig, Oriol Pla for Yo, Adicto (I, Addict), and Diego Vasquez for One Hundred Years of Solitude. Additionally, Amar Singh Chamkila has been nominated in the Best TV Movie/Mini-Series category, marking a dual celebration for the team.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the movie narrates the story of renowned Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila, who emerged from a humble Dalit Sikh upbringing in Punjab to become a music legend celebrated for his daring and controversial lyrics. The drama portrayed both Chamkila's rapid ascent and his untimely assassination at the age of 27.
Dosanjh has been widely praised for his depiction, effectively embodying Chamkila's charm, intensity, and depth. The movie also stars Parineeti Chopra as Amarjot, Chamkila's second wife, and includes a soundtrack by A.R. Rahman, which boosts its international allure
Indian productions have previously achieved recognition at the International Emmys; Netflix's 'Delhi Crime' secured the Best Drama Series award in 2020. The series, featuring Shefali Shah as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, is a dramatized portrayal of the 2012 Delhi gang-rape incident.
