On Monday, Farah posted a fan-made reel on Instagram featuring a clip of Akshaye Khanna's scenes from Dhurandhar, paired with a scene from Tees Maar Khan where Akshay Kumar looks at Akshaye and says, 'There is my superstar, my Oscar.' The text on the reel stated, 'Everyone after seeing Akshaye Khanna as Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar.'

In Tees Maar Khan, Akshaye portrayed Aatish Kapoor, a gifted yet avaricious superstar with dreams of winning an Oscar. The movie, also starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in prominent roles, has gained popularity among Gen Z, despite receiving mixed reviews when it was first released.

In Dhurandhar, Akshaye portrays Rehman Dakait, a gangster who dominates Lyari alongside his cousin and right-hand man, Uzair Baloch, portrayed by Danish Pandor. His introduction scene, set to the Arabic song Flipperachi, has generated significant excitement on social media, and his performance has been widely acclaimed.

Regarding Dhurandhar

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie is set in the late 2000s and is inspired by real events to tell a fictional story about India's fight against terrorism in Pakistan. Ranveer Singh plays Hamza, an Indian spy who infiltrates Rehman Dakait's gang in Lyari to dismantle the organization and provide Indian intelligence with information about their interactions with the ISI. In addition to Ranveer and Akshaye, the film features Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt in significant roles.

Although the film received mixed reviews from critics, it was well-received by audiences and earned ₹152 crore globally during its opening weekend.
