Ibrahim on being likened to Saif Ali Khan

In a recent conversation with Esquire India, Ibrahim addressed the common comparisons to his father, Saif Ali Khan, stating that he views them as flattering. 'For many years, people have remarked on my resemblance to my father. They often exclaim, 'Oh my god, you're just like him, you're just like him, you're just like him. Oh my god, you're just like Saif.' When you hear something like that repeatedly, it sets a benchmark for you. You aspire to be increasingly like him,' Ibrahim expressed.

Discussing Saif, Ibrahim expressed, "I believe my father is an incredible actor. What I truly admire about him is that many people initially doubted him. It took him several films to establish himself and become the versatile artist he is today."

Ibrahim, the offspring of actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh and the grandson of Sharmila Tagore, made his first appearance in the film Nadaaniyan. This movie, which also featured Khushi Kapoor, premiered on Netflix in March. The film was directed by newcomer Shauna Gautam and included performances by Mahima Chaudhry, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj.

The movie was met with unfavorable reviews upon its release. Four months afterward, Ibrahim appeared in Sarzameen with Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film directed by Kayoze Irani also received criticism from both critics and social media users.

What lies ahead for Ibrahim

Ibrahim's upcoming appearance will be in the sports drama 'Diler,' featuring Sreeleela as well. Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, the movie is said to revolve around the life of a marathon runner. Although the release date has not been confirmed, it is anticipated to premiere in 2026.
