Emirati content creator Khalid Al Ameri and Indian actress Sunaina Yella have disclosed their relationship in a discreet manner on Instagram. Instead of a formal announcement, the news was shared through a mirror selfie included at the conclusion of Khalid's birthday post.
The post showcased a collection of personal, softly lit photographs from his birthday event, featuring images of flower arrangements, a serene restaurant ambiance, and Khalid dressed in black, holding a bouquet. The concluding picture depicted him and Sunaina standing closely with their fingers intertwined, affirming what fans had suspected for a while.
He described the post as: “A beautiful night to remember الحمدلله,” which is an Arabic phrase expressing gratitude. Khalid also posted two more photos on his Instagram Stories featuring Sunaina, one of which was captioned: “Thank you for the beautiful birthday.” Sunaina, recognized for her roles in Tamil and Telugu movies such as Kadhalil, Vizhunthen, Neerparavai, and Samar, was tagged in the posts, confirming the announcement.
Speculation about the couple's relationship began in June 2024, when Sunaina posted a picture of herself holding someone's hand, which Khalid liked. This was followed by her liking his post featuring two hands adorned with rings. Additional clues were shared posts from Dubai earlier this year.
Khalid Al Ameri, known for his family-focused and cross-cultural content with over 3.2 million followers, has been spending more time in India, marking his acting debut in the Malayalam movie Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies. He was formerly married to UAE influencer Salama, and they have two sons together.
Sunaina Yella, hailing from Nagpur, began her acting career in 2005 and has consistently established her name in Tamil and Telugu films. In addition to movies, she has featured in web series like Nila Nila Odi Vaa and Chadarangam, as well as in Amazon Prime Video's Inspector Rishi (2024).
