This season of Kaun Banega Crorepati has featured numerous touching and motivational moments, but the upcoming episode will take a completely different turn. Rather than focusing on serious themes, audiences can expect a heavy dose of humor, courtesy of comedians Kiku Sharda and Sudesh Lehri. The duo is set to infuse their trademark mischief into the KBC hot seat, and judging by the promo, the atmosphere will resemble a lively stage performance more than a traditional quiz show.

Kiku Sharda appears as his popular character Bacha Yadav, taking it upon himself to 'investigate' a fabricated feud between Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, and wastes no time in delivering his first witty remark.

Keeping a serious expression, Kiku remarks, “Sir, I’ve heard you don’t get along with Shah Rukh Khan. You even expelled him from the house in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.” For context, in the film, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan portrayed a father–son pair. Bachchan’s character, Yashvardhan Raichand, disapproved of Rahul, played by Khan, marrying Anjali, portrayed by Kajol, and ultimately forced him to leave the family home.

Kiku remarks that SRK was expelled from Gurukul in Mohabbatein and even from the film Piku. Amitabh Bachchan bursts into laughter, pointing out that Shah Rukh was never in Piku. Kiku quickly delivers another witty line, saying, 'Sir, if you’ve already fired him, how could he possibly be in the movie?'

Sudesh Lehri adds his unique touch to the entertainment, sharing that he draws inspiration from Amitabh Bachchan and imitates some of his mannerisms. He mentions that, similar to Big B greeting fans from his gallery every Sunday, he does the same. However, he humorously reveals that, in his case, there is no one present to return the wave.

In another video, Sudesh Lehri delivers a comedic act portraying how a ghazal singer might perform in front of a Punjabi audience. Check it out:

Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, which premiered on August 11, is broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television.
