The track Shararat, from Aditya Dhar's film Dhurandhar, quickly became a hit after the movie premiered. This lively dance song showcased actors Ayesha Khan and Krystle D'Souza, and also featured the actual singers, Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas. Interestingly, Madhubanti was initially reluctant to appear in the music video. She revealed that it was Aditya Dhar's assurance and vision that encouraged her to participate.

What Madhubanti revealed

During a roundtable discussion with Rohini on the YouTube channel Fever HM, sponsored by Amazon Music, Madhubanti expressed, “I was reluctant. I am generally very reluctant about anything other than going to the studio or staying at home.

I question everything else and ask, ‘Why?’ I questioned Aditya Dhar, ‘Why? You have so many people in that scene; the actors, dancers, and everyone.’ He was so sure about his vision that there wasn't much room for objection. He said he wanted it, and I agreed!” She further mentioned, "The only thing I insisted on was, 'Please don't make me dance!' as I don't want anyone to witness that! (laughs)"

About Shararat and Dhurandhar

Shararat takes place at a wedding event in the film featuring Ranveer Singh, where Ayesha and Krystle play the roles of wedding dancers at an upscale Karachi ceremony. Madhubanti and Jasmine perform as the singers, delivering the song live and dancing to the rhythm.
