Most Wanted Bhai is back! Salman Khan to release Radhe in theatres on Eid this year

Akshay Badwe

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on Tuesday declared that his much-awaited film Radhe will release in theatres on Eid 2021. His decision followed a request from exhibitors' associations across India for a theatrical release of the film.

He took Twitter to share the news: "Sorry it has taken me a long time to revert to all the theatre owners... It's a big decision to make during these times. I understand the financial problems that the theatre owners/exhibitors are going through and I would like to help them by releasing 'Radhe' in theatres."

"In return, I would expect them to take utmost amount of care and precautions for the audience who would come to the theatre to watch 'Radhe'. The commitment was of EID and it will be Eid 2021 inshallah. Enjoy Radhe this year in theatres on Eid.. God willing..", he added.

Radhe is directed by Prabhudeva, which also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Zarina Wahab and Randeep Hooda. The film has been co-produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Atul Agnihotri. The Dabbang actor finished the shoot of the movie after COVID-19 induced lockdown lifted. The movie is supposed to be a remake of South Korean film Veteran and also a sequel to Bollywood film, Wanted.

Salman launched the trailer of Radhe when he last year also released Dabbang 3 trailer.

Salman Khan famously releases his movies on Eid, including past many super-hits such as Ek Tha Tiger, Bodyguard, Dabbang, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and more.
