This concert is set to be a milestone in the journey of the "Sobaticha Karar" series, marking its 150th performance. Organized by the Sakal Media Group, the event will take place at Pandit Farms, DP Road, Karvenagar at 5 PM.

The Ravetkar Group has come forward as the main sponsor for this much-anticipated event, with additional support from Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd. and "The Nature - Mukaivadi."

Over the years, "Sobaticha Karar" has captivated audiences across India and even internationally, and its 150th edition promises to be an unforgettable celebration of poetry, music, and storytelling.

A Special Evening with Vaibhav Joshi and Om Bhutkar

Vaibhav Joshi’s mastery of Marathi and Hindi poetry, coupled with his unique style of presenting ghazals and rubaiyat, has made "Sobaticha Karar" a cherished event for poetry lovers.

To make this edition even more exciting, Om Bhutkar—celebrated for his unique program "Sukhan"—will be joining Joshi on stage. Together, they are set to present an eclectic mix of original compositions, favorite works from other poets, and engaging anecdotes that will give the evening a delightful, personal touch.

Om Bhutkar expressed his excitement, "Vaibhav Joshi is one of my absolute favorite poets. We frequently discuss poetry and other literary genres, and being part of the 150th edition of 'Sobaticha Karar' is incredibly special.

I’m excited to share the stage with him as we present some of our original works along with poems from other beloved poets. The evening will be full of stories, conversations, and, of course, beautiful poetry."

A Musical Journey with Talented Artists

The evening’s poetry will be accompanied by enchanting music, adding another layer of emotion to the performances. The music is composed by Dr. Ashish Mujumdar, with vocals by the talented Dattaprasad Ranade.

They will be joined by a skilled ensemble of musicians: Ninad Solapurkar on harmonium and synthesizer, Samir Shivgar on tabla, Amod Kulkarni on dholak and pakhawaj, and Milind Shevre on guitar.
