14-Year-Old Boy Ends Life in Upscale Pimple Saudagar

Malhar was at home with his brother while their parents were away in Beed district. He had conversation with his mother before the incident.

Pune: A tragic incident has rocked the upscale neighborhood of Pimple Saudagar, where a 14-year-old boy, Malhar Makarand Joshi, ended his life by jumping from the seventh floor of the Rose Land Society's X Wing. The reason behind this extreme step remains unclear, and the community is in shock.

Malhar, a ninth-grade student, was at home with his brother while their parents were away in Parli, Beed district. Around noon, Malhar went to a friend's house to call his mother and had a conversation with her. Shortly after, he jumped from the building, leaving the community in disbelief and sorrow.

The Sangvi police are investigating the circumstances surrounding Malhar's final conversation with his mother and the reasons behind his decision.

The incident has sparked discussions on why such a young boy would take such a drastic step, highlighting the need for increased awareness and support for mental health issues among adolescents.
