AIT Pune to Host AICTE-Sponsored Faculty Development Program on Cybersecurity

Participants will gain exposure to advanced concepts in cybersecurity and ethical hacking through lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions.

Pune: The Army Institute of Technology (AIT), Pune, is gearing up to host a week-long Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking, sponsored by AICTE ATAL.

Scheduled from December 2 to December 7, 2024, the program aims to enhance cybersecurity expertise among academia and professionals.

The program will be inaugurated by the Chairman of AIT, with Brigadier Abhay Bhat overseeing the initiative. Dr. Sunil Dhore serves as the Convenor, while Dr. Sagar Rane and Prof. Sita Yadav are coordinating the event.

The FDP will feature renowned speakers from leading industries and esteemed academic institutions. Participants will gain exposure to advanced concepts in cybersecurity and ethical hacking through lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions.

A key highlight of the event is a planned visit to Quick Heal, Pune, a leading name in cybersecurity solutions. This visit will provide attendees with firsthand insights into practical cybersecurity applications, bridging the gap between theory and industry practices.

The program invites participation from engineering faculty, PhD researchers, postgraduate students, and government officials from Maharashtra and beyond.

Its goal is to equip attendees with the tools and skills needed to address contemporary cybersecurity challenges while fostering knowledge exchange between academia and the industry.
