Army Day Parade 2025: Traffic Diversions Announced in Khadki, Yerawada, Vishrantwadi

Traffic towards Khadki via Chandrama Chowk, Holkar Bridge and from Bopodi Chowk via Khadki Bazaar will be restricted for four hours on January 11 and 15, 2025.

Pune: The Yerawada Traffic Division of Pune Traffic Police department has announced temporary changes in traffic movement on January 11 and 15, 2025, due to the Army Day Parade at the Bombay Engineer Group (BEG) Centre in Khadki.

The changes will be in effect from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM on both days, covering the route between Chandrama Chowk and Holkar Bridge. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and use the suggested alternative routes.

Key Traffic Diversions:

Shadalbaba Chowk to Chandrama Chowk:

  • Traffic towards Khadki via Chandrama Chowk will remain closed.

  • Suggested alternative: Use the Shadalbaba–Ambedkar Chowk–Alandi Junction–Sapras–Old Holkar Bridge route.

Vishrantwadi to Holkar Bridge:

  • Traffic heading towards Khadki via Holkar Bridge will be restricted.

  • Suggested alternative: Use either the Vishrantwadi–Sapras–Old Holkar Bridge route or the Shadalbaba–Sangamwadi–Patil Estate route.

Khadki to Holkar Bridge:

  • Traffic from Bopodi Chowk via Khadki Bazaar and General Cariappa Road to Holkar Bridge will be blocked.

  • Suggested alternative: Use the Wakdewadi–Patil Estate route.

Poultry Farm Chowk to Holkar Bridge:

  • Traffic via Poultry Farm Chowk/Poultry Underpass to Aathmula Road will not be permitted.

  • Suggested alternative: Use the Wakdewadi–Patil Estate–Sangamwadi–Shadalbaba route.

The Pune Traffic Police has requested the cooperation of commuters to ensure smooth traffic management during the parade hours.
