Pune: To mark World Sparrow Day, the Alive Charitable Trust and Pimpri-Chinchwad Science Park have launched the ‘Save the Sparrow Campaign 2025’, featuring multiple competitions aimed at spreading awareness about bird conservation. The competitions are open for all age groups, and entries will be accepted until February 28.
Drawing Competition
Open to all age groups.
Participants must submit an A3-sized drawing using pencil or any color medium.
Story Writing Competition
Participants must submit an original fictional or real-life story about sparrows.
Word limit: 500 to 1,000 words.
Entries accepted in Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, or English.
Age categories: 10-15 years, 16-59 years, and 60+ years.
Poetry Competition
Participants must submit an original poem on sparrows in Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, or English.
No word limit.
Age categories: 14-18 years, 19-59 years, and 60+ years.
Bird Quiz Competition
Open to students from 7th to 9th grade.
Conducted in two rounds: Preliminary and Final.
The quiz will focus on birds found in India.

Free Participation and Special Awards
No entry fee for any competition.
Participants can enter multiple competitions based on their age group.
Schools with the highest number of participants will receive special awards.
