Ashish Borkar Clears MPSC Judicial Exam in First Attempt, Appointed as Civil Judge

Ashish Borkar completed his law degree from ILS Law College, Pune, and later pursued an LL.M. in Constitutional Law from Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Pune: Advocate Ashish Borkar has been appointed as a judge after successfully clearing the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Civil Judge and First-Class Judicial Magistrate Examination 2022 in his very first attempt.

The MPSC recently announced the exam results, and thousands of lawyers from across the state had appeared for the examination, which was conducted in three phases: preliminary, main examination, and interview.

Educational Background and Legal Career

Ashish Borkar completed his law degree from ILS Law College, Pune, and later pursued an LL.M. in Constitutional Law from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.

After completing his education, he began his legal practice at the Pune District and Sessions Court under senior advocate Hemant Shinde. He has six years of experience in the legal profession.

While practicing law, he started preparing for the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) examination conducted by MPSC. His dedication and rigorous preparation have now resulted in his selection as a judge.
