Mumbai: Baskin-Robbins, the globally recognized ice cream brand and the largest QSR ice cream chain in India and the world, has reached a significant milestone with the grand opening of its 1000th store in the bustling suburb of Andheri, Mumbai.

The new Andheri outlet, spanning over 750 square feet, stands as the largest Baskin-Robbins store in Mumbai and one of the largest across India.

The celebratory opening event brought together key stakeholders, industry leaders, and loyal customers, all of whom gathered to recognize Baskin-Robbins' remarkable success in expanding its footprint in India.

Since its debut in the Indian market in 1993 through a partnership with Graviss Foods, the master franchisee for India and the SAARC region, Baskin-Robbins has consistently aligned its offerings with the evolving tastes of Indian consumers.

Over the years, the brand has served as a household name in over 290 cities. To meet the increasing demand, Graviss Foods recently launched a new manufacturing facility in India.

In addition to global favorites like Mississippi Mud and Bavarian Chocolate, Baskin-Robbins has created flavors that resonate with local palates, including Gulab Jamun, Caramel Milkcake, and Rabdi Jalebi.

The brand has also embraced technological advancements, being among the first in the Indian ice cream industry to adopt online ordering and introduce a customer loyalty program.

Gaurav Ghai, Chairman of Graviss Group, said, "This is an exciting day for all of us at Graviss Foods and Inspire Brands. The opening of our 1000th location in India is a testament to our shared values, dedication, and hard work in this market."

Michael Haley, President and Managing Director of International Operations at Inspire Brands, added, "Baskin-Robbins’ continued success in India reflects our commitment to offering exceptional and innovative experiences. We extend our thanks to Graviss Foods for being a strong partner for over three decades."

Vikram Seth, Managing Director of Graviss Foods, emphasized the brand's role in India's economic growth, noting, "As India moves toward becoming a global economic leader, Baskin-Robbins is proud to contribute by creating jobs, delivering joy to our customers, and continually innovating in our offerings."
