Bharat Forge and Liebherr to Establish Advanced Aerospace Manufacturing Facility in Pune

Set to become operational in 2025, the new facility will include a ring mill for high-precision production of landing gear components and raw material processing.

Pune: Bharat Forge Ltd., a global engineering and manufacturing company, and Liebherr-Aerospace and Transportation SAS, a renowned name in aerospace technology, have announced a strategic collaboration to set up a state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing facility in Pune, India. The announcement was made at Aero India 2025, marking a significant milestone in India’s growing aerospace capabilities.

Set to become operational in 2025, the new facility will incorporate advanced forging and machining technologies, including a ring mill for high-precision production of landing gear components and raw material processing.

This investment by Bharat Forge highlights the company’s commitment to delivering world-class aerospace solutions while strengthening India’s role in global aerospace supply chains. The facility will support Liebherr and its global customers by enhancing production efficiency and precision manufacturing capabilities.
