Pune: In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, the Railway Administration has extended the Bikaner-Pune Express service up to Miraj, with the new schedule coming into effect from September 2.

The extension will provide direct connectivity between Bikaner and Miraj, catering to the increasing demand for better travel options.

According to the new timetable, the Bikaner-Pune Express will depart from Bikaner station every Monday at 7:30 AM. The train is scheduled to arrive in Pune the following morning at 7:35 AM. From Pune, the train will depart at 7:45 AM and will reach Miraj at 1:45 PM on the same day.

The return service, Miraj-Bikaner Express, will depart from Miraj every Wednesday at 2:25 PM and is expected to reach Pune by 8:00 PM. It will then depart from Pune at 8:10 PM and will complete its journey to Bikaner, arriving at 8:40 PM the next day.

Importantly, there are no changes to the stops or timings between Bikaner and Pune, ensuring that the existing schedule remains intact for regular passengers.

However, additional stops have been introduced between Pune and Miraj, including Jejuri, Lonand, Satara, Karad, Kirloskarvadi, and Sangli stations, providing further connectivity along this route.

This extension is expected to significantly benefit passengers traveling to and from Miraj, offering a more streamlined and direct travel option. The Railway Administration has urged passengers to check the updated timetable and plan their journeys accordingly.
