Rajwardhan Joshi, Secretary of BMI Trust, will represent the organization at this event.

The invitation to the summit comes as part of BMI’s involvement with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), a status it has held since 2013.

The trust, known for its work in rural development, women’s empowerment, and support for senior citizens and the visually impaired, has been recognized for its contributions to advancing education, health, and environmental protection.

Founded in 2006, BMI Trust has been at the forefront of rural development initiatives, with a special focus on marginalized communities. Their participation in the "Summit of the Future" marks another significant milestone for the organization.

The summit itself is a landmark event that seeks to address global challenges, including technological advancement, sustainable development, and social equity, bringing together leaders and innovators from various sectors.

Rajwardhan Joshi shared his excitement, noting that this event provides BMI Trust with a valuable opportunity to engage with global leaders and innovators.

“The insights and collaborations we gain from the summit will help refine our programs and align them with international best practices,” Joshi remarked.

He further emphasized that the experience would enhance BMI Trust’s ability to make a meaningful impact in rural communities, particularly for women, senior citizens, and the visually impaired.

BMI Trust plans to showcase its ongoing work at the summit, sharing its experiences and expertise in rural development and empowerment initiatives. The organization aims to highlight how targeted interventions can improve the lives of marginalized groups and create inclusive societies.

Over the years, BMI Trust has participated in a number of significant international forums, including the Conference for Senior Citizens and Disability (2016), UN Women Empowerment / DESA (2017), International Alliance of Women in Geneva (2018), and the World Peace Forum in South Korea (2024), further solidifying its role as a key player in global development discussions.
