On Saturday, December 20, 2025, Dr. S. Jaishankar, India's External Affairs Minister and a notable public intellectual, traveled to Pune to participate in the Pune Literature Festival at the Fergusson College grounds. The event attracted a large audience eager to hear from one of India's leading figures in foreign policy and governance.

In the session, Dr. Jaishankar discussed his renowned books, The India Way and Why Bharat Matters, in detail. He elaborated on the motivations for writing these books, stressing the importance for Indians to grasp their country's civilizational richness, international influence, and strategic mindset.
