Pune: The police constable recruitment process is underway at the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate. During the recruitment, a unique incident occurred.

A woman, dreaming of becoming a police officer, arrived for the physical test in Pimpri-Chinchwad with her four-month-old baby. On-duty female police officers took care of the baby, highlighting the empathy and support among women, earning widespread appreciation for their act.

Aspiring police officers, both men and women, from various parts of Maharashtra are participating in the recruitment process with dreams of joining the force.

Many young men, women, and candidates have gathered in Pimpri-Chinchwad for the constable recruitment, held at the Sant Dnyaneshwar Sports Complex.

The physical tests for women began today, with 864 women attending and 729 completing the test on the first day. Among them was a heartwarming scene.

A woman arrived at the recruitment center with her four-month-old baby, with no relatives available to look after the child. Driven by her dream of becoming a police officer, she brought the baby along.

Observing this, a female police officer on duty took care of the baby for two to two and a half hours while the mother completed her physical test. This act of kindness has been widely praised, illustrating that women understand and support each other's challenges. It also underscores the ongoing difficulties women face today.

In another incident, a 27-year-old man identified as Tushar Baban Bhalke from Sangamner, collapsed and died while running as part of the recruitment activities.

According to reports, Tushar arrived at the Shivajinagar police grounds around 8 AM. During the running exercise, he suddenly fell to the ground. He was immediately rushed to Sassoon Hospital for treatment.

However, despite medical efforts, his blood pressure dropped, leading to his death. It is suspected that Tushar Bhalke suffered a heart attack.
