At the same time, the onion plants preserved by the farmers by planting saplings in the field itself were badly damaged. In some places, heavy rains led to waterlogging in the fields.

In such places, the amount of fungus on onion plants increased. Many planted on flat steam, where the fungal infection was less common, but the rain increased the death of the plants. Some farmers' nurseries were completely damaged due to the rains. 

The seeds had germinated in the nursery in the field. In the meantime, the rain damaged these sprouts. Plants were cut off. It is not possible to fill this gap now. Farmers say that even spraying it is of no use.
