Fleetguard Filters Conducts Mega Plantation Drive at Tamhanwadi, Daund

Pune: Fleetguard Filters Private Limited (FFPL), a filtration solution provider for on- and off-highway applications, organized a large-scale plantation drive at the Biodiversity Park in Tamhanwadi, Daund, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The plantation drive, held on January 15, 2025, witnessed the planting of 2,000 saplings. The event saw active participation from over 42 FFPL employees, volunteers from the Being Volunteer Foundation, officials from the Forest Department, and members of the local community.

The Biodiversity Park project, initiated in November 2024, is a collaborative effort involving FFPL, the Being Volunteer Foundation, and the local gram panchayat. FFPL has committed to maintaining the park for three years. The park, located on forest land, is envisioned to enhance ecological diversity, serving as a habitat for local flora and fauna while benefiting the community.

Niranjan Kirloskar, Managing Director of FFPL, stated, “Amidst rising concerns about climate change, this initiative represents our commitment to contributing positively to the environment.”

FFPL, in partnership with the NGO and the local gram panchayat, will oversee the maintenance of the Biodiversity Park for three years. The project began in November 2024, focusing on site preparation leading up to the plantation drive in January 2025.
