GHRCEM Distributes Educational Supplies to Underprivileged Students at ZP School

GHRCEM distributed essential stationery to students of Zilla Parishad Primary School in Domkhel, Awhalwadi, Wagholi.

Pune: The Electronics and Telecommunication (E&TC) Department of G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management (GHRCEM) conducted an educational support initiative by distributing essential stationery and supplies to economically disadvantaged students of the Zilla Parishad Primary School in Domkhel, Awhalwadi, Wagholi.

The event was led by Dr. R.D. Kharadkar, Campus Director of GHRCEM, accompanied by Vanita Kalap, the Headmistress of the ZP school, and Hanumant Satav, Chairman of the School Development Committee.

This charitable event was made possible through the generous financial contributions from the faculty and staff of the E&TC Department. The distribution included a variety of educational supplies such as single-line notebooks, drawing books, crayons, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners.

These resources were thoughtfully assembled to support the academic needs of the students.

Faculty and students from the E&TC Department were present at the school, personally handing over the stationery to the students.

The event was also attended by ZP school teachers, including Balu Temgire and Aparna Thorat, alongside other prominent figures such as Dr. Surendra Waghmare (HOD of E&TC), Dr. Amol Bhoi, Dr. Sarika Kope, and Dr. Sudhir Hate.

Dr. R.D. Kharadkar, Campus Director, expressed his pride in the department's efforts, stating, “This effort exemplifies our commitment to community service. It is our responsibility as educators not only to impart knowledge but also to ensure that every child has the necessary tools to succeed in their educational journey. We also aim to provide basic computer training for the students.”

Vanita Kalap, Headmistress of the ZP school, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the GH Raisoni Group and the E&TC Department for their support.

She emphasized that such social activities underscore GHRCEM Pune’s dedication to community development and its efforts to make education accessible to all students.
