Tanisha Bhise, the wife of a BJP MLA's aide, was refused admission at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital despite her critical condition. The hospital allegedly demanded ₹20 lakh initially and later reduced the amount to ₹10 lakh, which the family could not afford. The family managed to pay ₹3 lakh, but the hospital still refused to admit her, leading to her death after giving birth to twins at another hospital.

Sapkal has called for the immediate removal of Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital's management board, citing their negligence and extortionate practices. Additionally, there are demands for a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the incident thoroughly and ensure accountability.

The state government has initiated an investigation into the matter, and officials are reviewing the hospital's actions to determine if any wrongdoing occurred. If found guilty, the hospital could face severe penalties, including revocation of its license and legal action against the management.
