Under the new system, PMC elections will take place through a four-member ward structure, with 165 corporators to be elected from 41 wards.

To manage the process, the civic body has requested the appointment of 17 chief election officers and 34 assistant officers. These officials will handle tasks such as accepting nomination forms, scrutinizing applications, and overseeing results once the election schedule is announced.

The municipal administration has also collected the mobile numbers and email IDs of citizens who have submitted objections, so that they can be notified directly about the hearing dates.
