Pune: As Ajit Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister and NCP President, continues his statewide 'Jan Sanman Yatra' in the lead-up to the upcoming assembly elections, a significant security alert has been issued.

The intelligence department has flagged potential threats to his safety, particularly during his visit to the sensitive Malegaon region. The police have been instructed to implement heightened security measures during his tour.

Ajit Pawar's Yatra, which commenced in Dindori, Nashik, has been met with an enthusiastic response from the public. However, the police and intelligence agencies are on high alert, especially in Malegaon and Dhule, where he is scheduled to visit next.

Intelligence reports indicate suspicious activities by terrorist organizations in these areas, prompting the police to exercise extreme caution.

In addition to the security concerns, Ajit Pawar's use of pink as a symbolic color throughout his Yatra has drawn significant attention. The color, associated with women's empowerment, is prominently displayed on everything from his attire to the vehicles and stages used in the campaign.

This unique approach, coupled with the promotion of various government schemes, has become a notable feature of his campaign.
