Junnar Constituency: Expenditure of Candidates Examined

The second scrutiny of election expenditure of all candidates will be conducted on November 13, 2024

Junnar: Returning Officer Pallavi Ghatge said that the expenditure of the candidates was examined in the presence of expenditure inspector Venkatesh Babu appointed in Junnar assembly constituency.

Assistant Assistant Expenditure Inspector Sandeep Ovhal, Surendra Waghmare, expenditure management committee members, as well as candidates and their expenditure representatives were present during the inspection.

Candidates who found minor differences in expenditure during the cost adjustment process were instructed to make repairs and ensure that such discrepancies do not happen again.

Ghatge said notices have been issued to independent candidates Sharad Shivaji Sonawane, Sharad Babasaheb Sonawane and Akash Rajendra Adhav for not submitting expenses.

The second scrutiny of election expenditure of all candidates will be conducted on November 13, 2024, while the third scrutiny will be held on November 17, 2024, Ghatge said.
