Kondhwa: Burglars Break into Pratibha Society Flats

Pratibha Society is located near ISKCON temple in Kondhwa area.

Pune: Thieves broke into four locked flats in a society in Kondhwa area and stole property. The incident took place around midnight on Friday.

Local residents have been demanding increased police patrolling in Kondhwa, Undri, Pisoli and Yevlewadi areas due to incidents of burglaries.

A case in this regard was being registered at Kondhwa police station. Pratibha Society is located near ISKCON temple in Kondhwa area. In the middle of the night, some thieves entered the premises of the society.

They locked the door to the security guard's room from outside. They then entered through the doors of the locked flats on the first and third floors.

Earlier, the thieves had locked the doors of other flats on the floor from outside. The thieves fled on a bike after stealing the property. The incident came to the notice of the citizens in the early hours of the morning.

They reported the matter to the police. A team led by senior police inspector Vinay Patankar from Kondhwa police station rushed to the spot.

"Cctv footage of the incident has been recovered and the case will come to light soon," Said Dhanyakumar Godse, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Wanawadi.
