Koregaon Park: Company Owner Charged for Harassing Female Manager

Pune: A company owner has been charged with repeatedly trying to get close to and behaving inappropriately with a female manager. The incidents occurred both in the Koregaon Park area and outside the company premises from March 5 to June 3.

The 26-year-old woman lodged a complaint at the Koregaon Park Police Station. As a result, Mukesh Nayanmal Kalani, a resident of Shahanshah Society in Koregaon Park, has been charged.

According to the police, Mukesh Kalani owns a retail company in the Koregaon Park area, where the complainant works as a senior corporate manager.

Kalani repeatedly contacted the complainant, trying to establish a close relationship with her. He sent gifts to her residence and followed her while she was going to and from the gym.

Kalani also called her to his office cabin under the pretext of work, where he made inappropriate physical contact, causing embarrassment.

The complainant noted that Kalani threatened to stay in touch and meet him regularly, or he would make public some photos of her and their interactions. The police are investigating the case further.
