Pune: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) working committee member Vijay Dakle has been expelled from the party.
NCP Pune city president Deepak Mankar has given a letter in this regard.
Chandrakant Patil is contesting from Kothrud assembly constituency.
Dakle is contesting against the official candidate of the Mahayuti despite being told not to file his nomination papers against Patil.
Their actions violate party discipline. As a result, he has been expelled," Mankar's letter said.
