Labourer Sleeping Under JCB Killed

The deceased has been identified as Rahul Bhurelal Jadhav (18). Police constable Hemant Raut lodged a complaint in this regard.

Dhankawadi: A construction worker, who was sleeping, found under a JCB machine, died in Dhankawadi area. A case was registered against the driver at Sahakarnagar police station.

The deceased has been identified as Rahul Bhurelal Jadhav (18). Police constable Hemant Raut lodged a complaint in this regard.

A case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder has been registered against JCB driver Mukesh Yadav (27), a resident of Ashtadwar Society, Dhankawadi.

According to police, construction was going on in the society premises in Dhankawadi last month. At that time, the labourer Rahul Jadhav was sleeping under the JCB machine.

This was not noticed by the JCB driver. He lifted the iron bucket of the JCB machine to the top to lift the ruckus. The iron bucket fell back down and hit Jadhav's stomach, seriously injuring him.

He died during treatment at a hospital. Police investigation revealed that the accident was caused by the negligence of the JCB driver. The police then registered a case against the driver on Wednesday.
