Laxmi Road Walking Plaza: PMPML Bus Routes Temporarily Changed on Pedestrian Day

Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has announced changes to the routes of 50 buses operating on Laxmi Road between 10 AM and 5 PM.

Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will celebrate Pedestrian Day on Wednesday, December 11, with a special "Walking Plaza" event on Laxmi Road.

To facilitate this initiative, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has announced changes to the routes of 50 buses operating on Laxmi Road between 10 AM and 5 PM.

The following route adjustments have been made for the affected buses:

Routes 55, 58, and 59

Buses will deviate from Shanipar Chowk and proceed via AB Chowk, Narayan Peth, and Alka Talkies Chowk before returning to their regular routes.

Route 57

Buses traveling from Pune Station will take the Narayan Peth and Alka Talkies Chowk route to their regular destinations.

Route 174

Buses heading to NDA from Pune Station will follow the standard route up to City Post, then turn right to pass through AB Chowk, Narayan Peth, and Alka Talkies Chowk.

Routes 197 and 202

Buses traveling from Hadapsar towards Kothrud Depot and Warje Malwadi will operate on their usual route up to City Post. From there, they will divert through Appa Balwant Chowk, Narayan Peth, and Alka Talkies Chowk before rejoining their regular routes.

Route 68

Buses heading to Upper Depot will remain on the usual route. On their return to Sutar Dara, they will travel via Tilak Road.

The PMC has urged commuters to plan their travel accordingly during the specified time to avoid inconvenience.
