Pune: The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has announced that the Phase IV written examinations for the ‘Winter 2024’ session will commence on Saturday, March 22 and continue until April 9, 2025.

The exams will cover various medical courses, including:

  • Second-Year MBBS (2019 batch)

  • BAMS/BUMS (2021 batch)

  • BHMS (2022 batch)

Exam Details and Digitalization Efforts

A total of 16,414 students will appear for these exams, which will be conducted at 104 examination centers across Maharashtra.

In a significant move towards digitalization, MUHS had previously introduced an online computer-based system for Phase III written exams, specifically for Third-Year MBBS and Final-Year MBBS students. Under this system, question papers were sent digitally to examination centers before the exam began as part of a pilot project.

Now, for Phase IV exams, MUHS plans to fully digitize the process, ensuring that written exam question papers are sent online to the exam centers on the day of the examination.

This initiative is aimed at enhancing examination security and efficiency, said Dr. Sandeep Kadu, Controller of Examinations, MUHS.
