Mumbai: "This completely is the benefit of doubt raised against the Mahavikas Aghadi of Maharashtra state government, and its role for launching an online education for its class tenth and class twelfth students, of the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in the state only through Reliance Network's Jio app?" BJP MLA, Atul Bhatkhalkar has asked this question to the Maharashtra state the government on Monday.

MLA Bhatkhalkar has pitched to the state government for launching an online education system for 10th and 12th class students through a private company. Why didn't the government start these classes through BSNL's network? The decision not to use BSNL's network is incomprehensible when the majority of schools of the Board of Secondary Education are in rural areas. Why not use the Doordarshan Sahyadri channel? Did the government ask other private companies? Such questions have been asked by MLA Bhatkhalkar to the government.

The Central Government has launched education initiatives in the country through television networks. He said, the government could have started the project in the state through the Sahyadri channel via Doordarshan, which is India's national channel and is free of cost. But it seems that the government which has been colluding with the education emperors has resorted to finance private companies.

He also demanded that the Maharashtra state government should pay for the SIM card and data pack if the state government has so much interest in imparting education through Jio App.

While the teachers are not getting their salaries, the education minister is busy buying luxury cars worth lakhs of rupees for himself. While the chief minister is busy cancelling the creamy transfers made by the home minister.

The Kasegaon Education Trust, which has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, against the state government's decision of not increasing the fees, needs to be inquired.

"In this context, why doesn't the government issue an ordinance against the fee hike by reiterating the allegation that 'I act as if I am beating, you act as if you are crying'? This combination is going on but these are going on for their own personal party benefit and neglecting the life of the common citizen. Before acting it they must act transparency and do the needful before implementing," Bhatkhalkar added.
