Former Tribal Minister of Maharashtra Vishnu Sawra passed away on Wednesday at Kokilben Hospital in Mumbai.

Senior leader from the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) from Palghar, he was one of the senior member of the Devendra Fadnavis government but had resigned after almost three years amid health problems. He was hospitalised multiple times in the past two years.
