Mumbai: The Uddhav Thackeray led government on Saturday declared Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as restaurants and other eateries are set to re-open from Monday with maximum 50 per cent capacity.

As per the guidelines issued, customers must be screened at the entry for COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough and cold. The guidelines read only asymptomatic customers will be allowed inside. Also, face masks are mandatory, except while eating, the guidelines further read. Check out the full guidelines.

· Even for waiting service, customers should follow the norms of social distancing.

· Agreement should be obtained from visitors for sharing their details with administrative and health authorities for contact-tracing related activities.

· Hand sanitisers must be made available and online payment should be encouraged while precautions should be taken while cash transactions.

· Restrooms and hand-wash areas must be cleaned at regular intervals.

· Chairs, tables, linen should be clean with disinfectants daily.

· Buffet service is not allowed. Ready dishes to be promoted in the menu.

· Only cooked food to be included in the menu while raw or cold food such as salads have been asked not to serve.

· Bar equipment like shakers, blenders, mixers must be cleaned while container trolley to be should be washed and sanitised. All the glass items should be cleaned with hot water and lemon.

· Plexiglass screens or similar barriers must be erected at counters where interactions with customers occur frequently.

· Dabbawallahs of tiffin carriers in Mumbai region will be allowed to commute by local trains after getting QR code passes from the Mumbai police commissioner's office.
