Weather conditions remain favourable for the monsoon to move further into the remaining parts of Maharashtra in the coming days. Regions such as Khandesh are expected to come under its influence soon. Although rainfall has not yet been recorded in all areas, monsoon winds have already reached these regions, signaling the beginning of the rainy season.

Meteorologists predict that rainfall activity will intensify later this week. Areas including Konkan, Nashik and the entire Khandesh region are likely to experience widespread and heavy rainfall on June 25 and 26 as monsoon conditions become more active.

Despite the arrival of the monsoon, Vidarbha is expected to continue facing intense heat. A severe heatwave is likely to persist across different parts of the region until June 26, causing discomfort for residents.

However, weather experts have indicated that there may be some relief from high nighttime temperatures. Humidity levels and overnight heat are expected to decrease gradually in the coming days, offering slight comfort even as daytime conditions remain challenging.
