Sachin Vaze on Friday late night was made to walk near Antilia, Mukesh Ambani's residence in Mumbai for recreation of the crime scene by NIA. Chief of NIA, Vikram Khalate was present at the occasion too.

Mumbai Police earlier this week suspended Crime Branch officer Sachin Vaze, a day after he was sent to the NIA’s custody in connection with the inquiry into the explosive-laden van found outside industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s residence on February 25.

To recreate the scene, NIA along with senior officers from the Mumbai Police chalked out the plan on Friday where Sachin Vaze was also brought to the spot where the van was parked.

The NIA has already stated that Vaze was arrested for his role in placing the explosives-laden van near Antilia, which is Mukesh Ambani’s residence. The top cop was produced before a court on Sunday, which sent him to NIA’s custody till March 25.
