Mumbai: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray and son Amit Thackeray were recently spotted for a rare tennis match, with a photo of the pair on either side of the net went viral.

On Thursday, Raj Thackeray’s new look was making a buzz on social media platforms. The MNS Chief who is generally seen in white kurta paired a sporty look.

Shalini Thackeray, General Secretary of the party also tweeted the image. Raj Thackeray is seen donning a blue t-shirt with navy blue track pant paired with black sunglasses and a cup of a tea in his hand.

As soon as the image went viral on social media, many office-bearers of the party commented on the new look.

One user wrote, “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. @RajThackeray” while another shared the photograph and captioned it, “The Boss @RajThackeray”

With an element of uproar very much still obvious in Maharashtra's politics, Raj Thackeray in last week of October paid a visit to Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari to draw attention to the issue of inflated electricity bills being sent to people's homes over the past few months, asserting then that there were also other problems that require the Maha Vikas Aghadi government's attention.

Raj also indicated that he would also meet NCP President Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray when the time was right.
