Has your feed been flooded with a video of a Mahindra Thar seemingly crashing into a highway exit signboard? The clip shows the SUV lodged high on an overhead board reading ‘Delhi, Gurugram, Jaipur, Exit 22, NH-48.’ At first glance, the scene is shocking but the real question is, is it real?

The video has been circulating on X and Instagram, with numerous users sharing it as an actual accident. In the footage and photos, the Thar is oddly perched high on the signboard, appearing as though it had leapt off the road and ended up there.

To make the video look convincing, it even features a truck with a ramp. But closer inspection reveals the truck itself is AI-generated. The SUV’s positioning looks highly unnatural, no real vehicle could reach that height and remain perfectly lodged on a signboard.

After careful verification, it’s clear the footage is entirely fake. The viral clip was created using artificial intelligence and does not depict a real crash. There are no confirmed reports of a Mahindra Thar hitting a highway signboard at Exit 22 on NH-48.

With the rise of AI-generated videos, such content can quickly lead to misinformation online. It's crucial to confirm details before disseminating them. In this instance, the Thar did not collide with any signboard. The video is a digital creation and not an actual accident.
