Malegaon: 30 Gunthas of Sugarcane Gutted Due to Firecrackers

Baramati: A fire broke out in 30 gunthas of sugarcane in Atul Vinayak Gosavi's field in Malegaon (Baramati) recently due to firecrackers.

This burned the cane. Gosavi suffered a loss of around Rs 1.5 lakh in the fire.

The fire was doused by a fire brigade of Malegaon Cooperative Sugar Factory.

However, by the time the fire was brought under control, sugarcane from 30 gunthe areas was engulfed in flames. The Malegaon police have recorded a statement in this regard.
