Malhargad of Delwadi Illuminated by Thousands of Lamps

An attractive rangoli was drawn in front of the temple. Different colors and flower petals were covered in this rangoli.

Khutbao: Delwadi (Daund): Deepotsav was celebrated on the occasion of Padwa at Pratijejuri Malhargad. 5,000 people lit up the Khandoba temple complex in the Khandoba temple complex.

An attractive rangoli was drawn in front of the temple. Different colors and flower petals were covered in this rangoli. Images such as pans, urns, swastikas, etc. were painted in the same rangoli.

I bought 100 kg of rangoli for this. The image of Lakshmi to the left of the temple was painted from rangoli. The rangoli was painted under the leadership of Rajendra Band.

Suresh Adhagale, Santosh Thorat, Manisha Band, Mukta Band, Tanuja Band, Sakshi Desai, Akash Bhondve, Sarika Shelar, Sunita Shelar, Lavanya Adhagale, Monica Dhumal, Supriya Shelar, Amrita Pawar, Sheetal Shelar youth and young women participated in this initiative. On this occasion, the Khandoba temple was illuminated with electric lights.

On the day of Lakshmi Puja, the youth anointed God Khandoba at 5 am. The temple premises and the top were then placed in the temple premises. One by one, in less than half an hour, the youths lit the pots.

The whole area was illuminated by their lights. Hundreds of children, women, youth and girls from the village participated in the initiative. After the Kakad Aarti of Vitthal Temple, devotees appeared in khandoba temple premises.

The villagers hugged and greeted each other and left for their homes with sweet memories in their hearts.
