MHADA Extends Deadline: Over 38,000 Applications for 6,294 Pune Homes

Deadline for online application submissions is December 10, while last date for completing online payments and deposits is December 12. Final lottery draw is scheduled for January 7, 2025.

Pune: The MHADA Pune Division has announced that it has received over 38,000 applications for 6,294 houses within the last one and a half months.

The application process, which began on October 10, 2024, has been extended to December 10, 2024, in response to citizen requests during Diwali and the assembly elections, confirmed Rahul Sakore, Chief Officer of MHADA Pune Division.

Breakdown of Available Homes

The housing lottery includes 2,340 flats under the “First Come, First Serve” scheme, 93 under various MHADA housing projects, 418 homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 3,312 units in the 20% inclusive housing scheme, and 131 units in the 15% social housing scheme.

The deadline for online application submissions is December 10, while the last date for completing online payments and deposits is December 12. The final lottery draw is scheduled for January 7, 2025.

Ensuring Transparency in the Process

To maintain transparency, MHADA will conduct the entire lottery process online, including application submissions, the draw, and the home allotment procedure.

For “First Come, First Serve” homes, registration is required at lottery.mhada.gov.in.
