Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh): A video has gone viral on social media showing a group of young men pretending to be transgender individuals and asking for shagun (money) at a function. The clip also shows the moment when women at the event realize the deception, confront the men, and physically challenge them.

Reports indicate that the incident occurred in Darbai village, located in the Parasia area of Chhindwara district.

In the video, the men are shown with their identities fully exposed, triggering turmoil at the venue. Several women present at the event are seen slapping the men and tearing off their clothes in retaliation. Bystanders quickly recorded the entire incident on their phones. The video has since circulated widely on social media platforms.

Accused crashed a wedding ceremony

According to sources, the men showed up at a wedding ceremony and demanded a large amount of money as ‘Neg,’ a customary gift, which aroused suspicion among the villagers. The locals then informed members of the nearby transgender community. After verifying the visitors’ identities, it was discovered that those claiming to be transgender were in fact young men.After the disclosure, chaos broke out at the location, and the episode has since drawn extensive attention across the internet.

Not the first time!

Residents pointed out that this was not the first time an incident of this kind had been reported in the district.

Local residents reported that these men had previously gone to other weddings and celebrations, pretending to be transgender individuals in order to collect money from families. The police have not yet released an official statement, and additional information about the case is still pending.
