This schedule, which covers exams throughout 2025, includes pending exams from 2024 as well as regular exams for the next year.

As per the MPSC’s plans, the revised Civil Services Preliminary Examination will take place in September 2025, with the Maharashtra Civil Services Gazetted Main Examination 2024 scheduled for April 2025.

MPSC has introduced a revised structure for the Civil Services Exam, to be implemented starting with the 2025 exams.

Consequently, the upcoming December 1, 2024, Maharashtra Civil Services Gazetted Preliminary Exam will be the final one under the old format.

The main exam for these preliminaries is scheduled for April 2025, with the results of the December preliminaries expected by March. Candidates who qualify in this round will face a descriptive exam in September 2025.

The tentative dates for MPSC exams in 2025 address the requests of candidates who sought more certainty in scheduling after disruptions in recent years.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other adjustments, the MPSC schedule had been restored to normalcy only recently but has seen new shifts this year.
