Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2021 to be held on June 27, UPSC confirms

On Wednesday, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) confirmed that the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2021 will be held on June 27. Regarding the registration and further details, UPSC said that "detailed Notifications for CSE-2021 and IFoSE-2021 shall be published in due course."

Civil Services Exam 2021 (CSE 2021) and Indian Forest Service exam (IFoSE 2021) notifications are expected to be released on Wednesday.

The preliminary test consists of Paper I and II. In the objective type, multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are asked that carry 400 marks. In the General Studies Paper-II, a candidate needs to qualify with a minimum of 33 per cent marks.

Civil Services Exam is held every year for the selection of candidates in Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, and other civil services through a preliminary exam, the main exam, and a personal interview.
