Narendra Modi, Ayushman Kh... among 5 Indians in Times '100 most influential people of 2020'

The TIME magazine has listed 100 pioneers, politicians, titans, musicians and icons who have shaped the contemporary worl d. Here is the list of five Indians on the list - 

1. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi 

2. Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana

3. Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai

4. 82-year old 'dadi' who became the face of anti CAA protest

5. Professor Ravindra Gupta 

The only Indian politician who made it to Time's '100 most influential people of 2020' list is Narendra Modi.

Since coming to power in 2014, PM Modi has appeared on the list four times. In 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2020, his name appeared in the list. In 2015, he received a profile which was written by the former US President, Barack Obama.

For a decade, some of the largest musicians, politicians, scientist, activists and entrepreneurs worldwide have been included on the TIME 100 annual list. The list comprises of people working in various fields who have influenced the world.

In the list of '100 most influential people of 2020', Times have also listed American President Donald Trump, Democratic VP nominee Kamala Harris, former Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, German President Angela Merkel American physicist Dr Anthony Fauci, and Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro.
